Agroecology has developed very dynamically and diversely as an agricultural practice, science and social movement in recent decades. In the discussion about "sustainable food systems", agroecological starting points offer many ideas and projects. However, as the importance increases, so do the conflicts around this term: What offers approaches for a sustainable and just transformation and where is it about appropriation and greenwashing? What are meaningful starting points for change in the face of multiple crises? Where are social movements for agroecology active and what are the challenges for the future?
