It's about time - regulatory requirements and increasing consumer pressure mean that climate protection and the presentation of their own sustainability are becoming more and more important for more and more companies, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and similar requirements are setting the bar ever higher for all economic sectors.
People with the appropriate training are increasingly in demand, qualification offers in this area are rare, and from October 2024, BOKU University, as a leading sustainability university, will for the first time offer a strong response to the demand for qualifications from companies.
"I am repeatedly asked about the need for such a course. The time is simply ripe and we are offering a long overdue opportunity for companies to get their employees fit," says Dr. Gudrun Obersteiner, Director of the new program, underlining the motivation for the focused development of the new format by her team of experts.
The compact course comprises five part-time weekend blocks held in classroom and online, in German language.
