Lecture topic: Walking in the landscape: the “experiential score”, an experiment in representation
Walking in the landscape creates an intimate relationship between the walker and the landscape that can be thought of as an on-going perceptive dialogue. How to represent this dialogue has been a long-standing quest among artists and landscape architects. The talk will discuss an experiment in representation in the shape of a “experiential score”, and will explore a dynamic approach to the aesthetics of spatial perception.
The talk is accompanied by an exhibit of work by landscape architecture students from BOKU.
Speaker: Cathérine Szántó, Landscape Architect, Maître de conférences en Ville et Territoire, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris La Villette
