The Colloquium on Fatigue Mechanisms has a long tradition dating back to the early 1970s. It is being held for the first time at BOKU University, organised by the Institute of Physics and Materials Science and the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Defect Tolerance of Steels in the High and Very High Cycle Fatigue Regime.
The colloquium series will continue in its traditional format:
- Focus on fatigue damage and fatigue lifetime, no limitation of the studied material
- Informal face-to-face meeting (no online participation)
- PhD students are encouraged to present their work
- Enough time for discussions and strengthening of professional contacts
- No proceedings, no book of abstracts
- No participation fee
