Research at the Institute of Bioanalytics and Agro-Metabolomics

The aims and activities of the Institute of Bioanalytics and Agro-Metabolomics (iBAM) with its 40 staff members are highly diverse. They range from the development and validation of modern analytical methods for the analysis of environmental, food and feed samples by immunoanalytical, molecular biological and spectroscopic techniques, as well as mass spectrometry (GC-MS and LC-MS/MS) including the establishment of metabolomics platforms to study e.g. the interaction between plants and fungi or animal (gut) health.
