What is Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)?

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, university staff/doctoral candidates have the opportunity to participate in a scientific event of an Erasmus+ partner university of BOKU with a physical and virtual part (e.g. International Summer Schools). At least 3 universities from 3 different countries must be involved in this event. Blended Intensive Programmes are a variant of Erasmus+ short-term mobility.

Duration and location of the stay


min. 5 days (maximum duration of the grant: 14 days)

Amount of the grant


The grant is provided by the EU.

  • For stays of 1-14 days: 70 euros/day
  • Top-ups for Green Travel and persons with fewer opportunities possible.

Application, deadlines and additional requirements


Applications are open continuously - At least 5 weeks before the start of the mobility.
Additional requirements: Proof of language proficiency, proof of academic achievement with corresponding grade point average.
