BOKU Bachelor students can apply for an internship on the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship website. Please note the procedure of the stay further down on this page.
Applications include an online application on the Mitacs website, certificates, a CV and a letter of recommendation. Find information and FAQ on this topic directly on the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship website.

August 5, 2026 - September 16, 2026: Application for Bachelor's students opens. Late applications cannot be considered. Contact Mitac's Helpdesk for questions regarding the application or the submission process.

Awarding of internship places:
The awarding of internship places is carried out by the study abroad advisory board. The following criteria are considered:
- Educational history (length and grades)
- Motivation and preparation for the internship
- Foreign-language ability
- Overall impression given by the applicant
Motivation is one of the most important factors, as it shows why you would like to undertake the particular internship you have chosen. Ask yourself: what study-related experience do you want to gain from the internship?
