BiotopeCity: Space for Nature in the City
There is room for nature everywhere. Whether on an unsealed parking lot, on the lawn, in the courtyard, on the balcony, as a green facade, and of course on rooftops. Amber specializes in renaturation and native trees and shrubs. He vividly demonstrates how even the smallest areas can support shrubs and trees that thrive for decades, drawing on many of his projects and other remarkable solutions from across Europe.
Conrad Amber is an Austrian nature photographer, consultant, and author who is committed to the preservation and propagation of trees and nature, especially in urban areas.
This lecture series is a cooperation between the Foundation Biotopes City, the Institute for Landscape Planning (ILAP) and the Institute of Engineering Biology and Landscaping (IBLB) of the BOKU University.
