Presentation Zimbabwe & South Africa
Landscapes are not islands – they are deeply connected, and we all share responsibility for the bigger picture. Can we learn that in a lecture hall? Yes – but it truly comes alive in the field. Landscape planning students learn side by side with young people in Zimbabwe and South Africa: on the ground, as equals, in meaningful exchange. For several years now, small landscape planning projects have grown from this collaboration with Prof. Walter Musakwa (University of Johannesburg) – exploring landscape governance, climate change, conservation and local livelihoods across continents.
Landscape planning becomes tangible, alive, and global. Come along, get inspired – and maybe the next project will be yours.
