New book with BOKU contribution

Land policy is being discussed again because the challenges of our time require innovative solutions that effectively control also land ownership and land use.

 

The Academy for Territorial Development in the Leibniz Association (ARL) facilitated an international working group on the topic of "Land Policies in Europe." Led by Prof. Thomas Hartmann (TUDO) and Associate Prof. Andreas Hengstermann (NMBU), Walter Seher (IRUB) and Arthur Schindelegger (ILAP) participated in the working group on behalf of BOKU University.

The results of the working group, "Land Policies in Europe", have now been published as an open access publication with Springer. Twelve case studies from various European countries illustrate the respective understanding of land policy and the different approaches.
