KinderBOKU is once again organizing summer holiday weeks for the first three weeks of school holidays in Vienna, July 06th - July 24th, 2026 for school children (born in 2015 or later) of BOKU members.

Childcare will take place from Monday to Friday from 8pm-4:30pm at Türkenschanze in the Ilse-Wallentin-House.

The cost is 115 € per child per week (including lunch) and will be invoiced afterwards.

The children will be looked after by the ‘Flying Nannies’ from the Children's Office of the University of Vienna with an active fun and games programme. In the second week of the holiday, the programme will focus on attending courses at the Vienna Children's University.

Unfortunately, visits to swimming pools cannot take place for safety reasons. In the second week of the holidays, the focus of the program will be on attending courses at KinderuniBOKU.

Binding online registration will take place exclusively online from February 11th, 2026 (2pm) until March 09th, 2026 (2pm) for BOKU employees and BOKU students:

Please complete a separate online form for each child and confirm the required data protection information and the cancellation policy at the end of the form.

The registration is binding as soon as you have sent the form.
After checking the data you have put in and submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This will contain a summary of your details as well as information on the summer holidays and the cancellation policy attached. You can no longer change the data you have entered.

The following applies:

  • binding registration (cancellations see below) by March 09th, 2026
  • only weekly registrations are possible, no single days
  • school children born in 2015 or later can be registered

Please note our cancellation policy, to which you must give your consent at the end of the online form.

Cancellation of a booking is only possible and valid in writing by e-mail to kinderboku_sommerferien@boku.ac.at.

Cancellation policy:

  • Up to 30 days before the first day of care: no fee
  • 29-21 days before the first day of care: 25% of the costs
  • 20-14 days before the first day of care: 50% of the costs
  • less than 14 days before the date of care: 100% of the costs

We strive to make registration for the summer holidays fair. If the demand exceeds the available places, we will try to enable as many children as possible to take part and, if necessary, reduce the number of weeks per child.
