a) Introduction into organic farming in Austria

b) Organic farming, protection of climate, species and biotope diversity

c) Organic farming, water and soil protection

d) Fixing seminar topics

2. Practical Implementation:

e) Writing a seminar work on selected topics of organic farming related to the protection of natural resources in small groups

f) Presenting the seminar work (15 min. oral, 5 min. discussion)

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

- Being able to recognise and analyse relationships between land management and protection of natural resources (soil, water, air, species and biotope diversity);

- Being able to describe the significance of organic farming for protection of natural resources;

- Apply basic knowledge
