Selected biohazards and chemical contaminants in food, overview on analytical methodology including quality control, demonstration examples using HPLC-MS/MS and ELISA.
This lecture and exercise will be held as an online course. The briefing takes place via Zoom a week before the course starts. All interested students, including those on the waiting list, should attend the briefing.

Basic knowledge in analytical chemistry, in particular of instrumental analytical chemistry.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
The aim of the course is to provide an overview and discuss the analysis of biological and chemical hazards (contaminants) in food and feed. Chromatographic and immunoanalytical methods, application of rapid and routine tests for the determination of chemical contaminants in food will be explained in detail.
