how have experimental methods contributed to our understanding and to some controversies in plant water relations
strategies of drought resistance; regulation of water use efficiency and applications for growing plants

some introductory course in general botany

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Participants understand plant water relations as a dynamic system affected by the environment and regulated by plants. They have basic knowledge how plant water relations can be measured and know management strategies to improve plant growth or reduce water loss under drought.
