Content

Objectives of projects correspond mostly with reasearch activities of the organizing institutes. Zoological or botanical analysis focus on ecosystems or taxa from agro-environments but also from other habitat types. Some interdisziplinary aspects are also touched depending on the respective project. Some activities run in meadows - all nearby Vienna, other focus on single species management like dangerous weeds.

Structures and processes with relevancy for the high biodiversity in grassland ecosystems will be investigated by project work. The students will achive insight in the chances and problems of the description, measurement, evaluation and management of biodiversity phenomena.
