New challenges and topics of wildlife research; presentation and discussion of research fields and projects, including those on wildlife management and wildlife monitoring
Students present the content of a current paper in 20 minutes. Background, research questions, methods, results and discussion are reviewed and discussed.

Basics in wildlife ecology and management. Not suitable for first semester students.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Students passing the seminar are capable to judge scientific quality of wildlife research. They know criteria for standardized, transparent and representative scientific work. Students are able to analyse the quality of published data and know quality thresholds for scientific publications. In addition, students are able to collect scientific literature from various sources, know how to reduce scientific findings to the main outline and have improved skills to present scientific data.
