Basic principles of LaTeX, differences to WYSIWYG programmes (Word etc.).
Structure of scientific documents, realisation in LaTeX.
Tables and equations. Including graphics. Producing automatic tables of content,
list of figures etc. Adapting styles. Creating reference lists with BibTeX and producing automatic citations. Conversion from rtf/doc/docx and into html and pdf.

Basic IT knowledge.

Being able to write scientific documents with LaTeX. Knowing basic typesetting rules, especially for technical and natural science texts. Knowing the structure of different types of scientific documents (thesis, project report, journal article).
