- Previous knowledge expected
None. Since we will run our code in a Linux environment it is recommended to take the course "Essentials for bioinformatics data analysis" first (or in parallel).
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Students are able to write small programs using variables, conditions, loops, and various functions to solve every-day programming tasks related to data analysis. Computational thinking will be augmented.
