The students get to know the approach to steady-state modelling of chemical processes in combination with process simulation software. The practical pat of the course is based on the equation-oriented simulation tool IPSEpro. Basic process configurations are implemented using standard components. Simple own unit models are developed, tested and used in own process models.

The participants know the general structure of process simulation software tools and are experienced in building own process models and in setting up models of single process components (units) in the equation-oriented softwatre tool IPSEpro.
