Practical course within the scope of actual research projects involving analytical topics: ICP-MS, molecular mass spectrometry, HPLC, GC, CE, digestion methods.
The course provides an introduction to the research fields of the Division of Analytical chemistry, mainly as preparation for subsequent Bachelor, Master or PhD work.

Survey of analytical methods: 771108 Analytische Chemie VO.
Practical experience: 771106 Instrumentelle Analytische und Physikalische Chemie UE.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Upon completion of the course, the students will have gained expertise in the application of modern analytical methods and learned to approach smaller independent tasks as part of a research project.
Students know how to use modern instrumental methods and to solve analytical problems.
