Content

RNA plays a key role in major aspects of cellular life. The seminar will focus on the cutting-edge RNA research and its applications. Topics will include but not limited to general and alternative pre-mRNA splicing, RNA stability, RNA epitranscriptomics, RNA in disease and RNA therapeutics.

Previous knowledge expected

Basic knowledge of molecular biology.
The course is open to students at the bachelor, master’s and other levels.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Students will learn the latest information in the field of RNA biology. The course will help students to develop critical thinking. Students will learn how to apply modern methods of biological research. They will learn how to write a concise essay and to communicate to fellow students the key points.
