Scientific work refers to the research on and work with literature, scientific theories and methods as well as data analysis and field work. The doctoral seminar fosters scientific skills required in the field of HAzarD and RIsk in AlpiNe areas.

Students are able to discuss journal papers in an international scientific context; - students are able to present scientific work; - students are able give valuable feedback to scientific concepts from other researchers; - students are able to develop ideas for improvement from the analysis of research work
