Content

Topics on current issues of Viticulture and Enology will be presented :

Winter semester : assignment of topics related to oenology
Summer term : allocation of topics related to viticulture


* Project-oriented team work in small groups of tow to three people is the desired goal

* The Project Group is actively engaged with their respective problem and work on it in a scientific-practical way.

* The Bachelor's thesis is to be professionally, application based, scientific oriented and 'rule- compliant ' worked out in good scientific practice in this lecture.

* Working on one of the projects is in coordination with the supervisor and includes project plan, activity report, final presentation and the bachelor's thesis.

* The Bachelor's thesis shall also include a reflection of the project, the project plan and personal experience of group dynamics.

Previous knowledge expected

This course is in the 5th and 6th semester of study and should be attended and graduated in this after completing significant parts of agricultural science subjects.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

students:
- learn to apply scientific and knowledge-based methods within a scientific project
- connect complex and interdisciplinary quesions in a focussed research topic
- learn how to search for scientific information and read publications
- know how to write a thesis
- gain knowledge about data analyses, presentation and statistical basics
- acuire team work qualities
- design and structure their work with feedback, knowledge exchange and trouble shooting
