Students learn to recognize to identify local wood species (by eye and microscopically) as well as their characteristics and uses. Furthermore, students recognize special fibers (reaction wood) macroscopically and microscopically.
The students learn the most important wood fibers and the possibilities of determining the types of wood on the basis of fibers.
