The first part of the lecture deals with the development of air quality and climate change policies in the past until nowadays. The international level, the European Union activities and the domestic policies will be addressed. In the second part the future developments of these most important environmental policies until the year 2050 and their main elements are presented. Together with the political and legal framework many examples for the different political processes are given and discussed afterwards. First-hand information and reports support the topic.
