Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The aim of the course is to make the students familiar with the practical use of hunting equipment (getting to know, selection and safe use of hunting arms and ammunition, traps, lure instruments, other equipment), the use of hunting dogs, ferrets, hawking birds (falcons) and facilities in a forest district as well as with dealing with the killed game. In the practical shooting exercises, students should achieve safe handling of hunting weapons and ammunition and accuracy of fire respectively which should at least meet the requirements for the "hunting-qualification" (alternative for part of the hunting-permit exam).
