Decomposition processes of the parent material (weathering, mineralisation). Newformation processes in soils as precondition for soil structure formation (pedogenic minerals, clay minerals, oxides and hydroxides, humification). Soil structure forming processes (aggregation, segregation, etc.). Turbation and leaching processes in soils and their consequences on soil structure. Soil structure stability. Soil structure parameters as diagnostical indicators for soil quality. Changes of soil structure parameters through agricultural landuse.
