Ethnobotany describes, analyses and explains the interaction between people and plants. This includes the cultivation, harvest and use of plants for e.g. food, medicine, construction, craft and customs.

This lecture covers definition of terms, concepts and theories related to ethnobotany and its relevance for the sustainable management of natural resources.
