Content

Content: Recent Advances in SARS-CoV2 and COVID 19 Research
Topics:

• Corona viruses: structure and replication
• SARS-CoV2 diagnostics (PCR, antigen and antibody tests)
• COVID-19 vaccination program (clinical phase III and approved candidates)
• Immunology and Epidemiology (infection/mortality rate, virus evolution and immunity)

After the lecture students will present recent publications, they can either choose from a pool (provided by the supervisor) or select their own publication.

Previous knowledge expected

Good knowledge in cell and molecular biology
941105 Introduction to Molecular Biology (in Eng.) is highly recommended!
