Assessment of soil erosion by water in a watershed by using a GIS-based simulation model.

The aim of these exercise is to help students learn how to choose the most appropriate procedure for solving erosion problems.
Students are able based on the problem statement to select appropriate simulation models and to apply them. Based on the obtained results they can make decisions for soil conservation measures and evaluate their efficiency.
