Overview of irrigation principles, methods and hydraulics (sprinkler, drip); assessing water requirements; determining irrigation frequencies; design of sprinkler irrigation system (layout, dimensioning of pipes and pump, real duration of irrigation).
Students will complete an irrigation design report to understand how irrigation principles are applied in practice.
