Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The students have knowledge of all relevant membrane processes and an overview of membrane and module types. They have a clear picture of how mass transfer processes are modeled. In addition they are able to calculate basic examples. With detailed knowledge of individual membrane processes, the participants have competences in formulating solutions for separation problems and discussing scale up tasks.
