Supervision and critical discussion of the work and results directly related to the PhD thesis in the field of nanoglycobiology with a special focus on prokaryotic glycosylation systems, glycosylation engineering and prokaryotic glycoimmunology.

After successful completion of this special lecture, students are familiar with stat-of-the-art theories, principles, and methods from the field of molecular glycobiology. Students are able to apply the acquired skills for promoting glycobiology in basic and applied research.
