Based on the raw material, the usage is shown as a material in structural engineering for different types e.g. for road construction, foundation engineering, sanitary engineering, hydraulic engineering and waste industry etc. The aim is to comprehensively map the activity area of the technician in order to make appropriate decisions on materials selection. After completion of this lecture the students know the different materials and their application. An introduction to laboratory testing and relevant standards and regulations complete the content of the course.
