After discussing the European and constitutional legal framework of Austrian environmental law the course focuses on areas such as industrial installations, water law, forrest law, waste law, environmental impact assessment, legislation against air pollution, nature conservation law, Eco Management and Audit Scheme, access to information in environmental matters, environmental liability and environmental law aspects of civil and criminal law.
