Improving knowledge in Landscape design process and competition.
Main focus on:
Idea-Concept-Construction and
planning and arranging technical details in plans
The topic of the winter term 2022/23:
Designing a temporary garden for a Garden Festival you can choose:
- the 18th Festival Internacional de Jardins in Ponte de Lima (Portugal)
"Healthy Gardens"
or
- the 13th Festival Internacional de Xardins in Allariz (Spain, Galicia)
""Around the world in 11 gardens"."
The results of the two-day Design workshop will participate in the competition.
After the design you will work out the plans for realisation.
In case of sucess you can see the results at the Gardenfestival 2023.

Erasmus students are welcome! (we also speak english, we expect design experience)
- Previous knowledge expected

It is expected that students have basic knowledge of landscaping (path structures, edging, principle constructions wood/steel/masonry) and the way to create readable plan graphics and maps for construction so that we can focus on design aspects.
This is NOT a beginner course.
You are planning in teams ( 3 Persons each team)

Experience in :
working on detail qualities in the planning stage,
finding appropriate solutions and materials
producing technical instructions to realise the design.
Calculating the design financially
