Content

Term and system of agricultural law; legal concept of agriculture and forestry; separation line between agriculture - industry; agricultural legislation and administration; history and organisation of CAP; law of market organisations; legal framework for Rural Development; legislation concerning animal and plant production; input legislation; genetic engineering legislation; water act; soil legislation (law of land reform, soil-protection, land transfer, lease of land); nature conservation legislation and Natura 2000; legislation on construction and spatial planning.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Overview of important areas of law of the Austrian and of the common agricultural law with special consideration to current questions, e.g. interface environmental protection - agriculture or national implementation of CAP in Austria
