Content

Students work together in groups on a problem of practical importance in the field of "Environment and Bio-Resources Management" with an interdisciplinary approach.

The class begins with a kick-off meeting where students will be introduced to the topics that will be studied in the current semester. This will be followed by a group phase where students work independently - guided by an advisor - on their problem, performing literature research, interviews, etc. The work will result in a written, scientific report as well as oral presentation and discussion in a plenary session.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

By independently working on complex, problems in the field of "Environment and Bio-Resources Management" students will learn scientific writing, presenting in a professional way, as well as defending their methods as well as their results. Moreover, working as a group and project management will be practiced.
