Topics in viticulture, fruit-growing and horticulture (ornamental plants, vegetable growing) are offered.

Project-like team-working in small groups is obligatory.

Previous knowledge expected

recommended to attend in the 6th semester, after attending topic and/or field-related lectures.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Acquisition und application of scientific and knowledge-based methods and their use in connection with more complex interdisciplinary or focussed research projects in the fields of horticulture, fruit growing and viticulture. Introduction to use of online-database, publishing, presenting and writing a thesis. Acquirement of qualified knowledge in the field of data processing and presenting of results; introduction to the literature; providing of a term paper or a publication.
