Participants will learn about
a) how to pretreat a sample for protein identification
b) the operation of a mass spectrometer (certainly ESI-MS, maybe MALDI-MS)
c) methods of data interpretation
d) principles of quantitative analysis by LC-ESI-MS
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)
Assessment of the potential of mass spectrometry in biological sciences.
Ability to define your analytical needs and to communicate with MS operators.
