Students will analyze data sets by applying various Linux command-line tools including sed and awk. They will learn how to use shell scripting for automated processing of files and how to visualize selected information from data files using gnuplot and R.

Basic Linux knowledge is required which can be obtained by attending the course “Linux skills for AgriGenomics”. Basic knowledge in molecular biology is required.
