G. Aggregates: principles, preparation, requirements and testing
H. Asphalt base: types, manufacture, application, requirement and testing
I. Asphalt surface course: manufacture, application and testing of rolled asphalt, porous asphalt, gussasphalt and surface treatment
J. Rigid pavement: principles, manufacture, application and testing
K. Surface characteristic: skid resistance, evenness, road safety, noise
L. Maintenance management: description of pavement condition, damage analysis, strengthening

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The aim of these lectures is to give the students a comprehensive understanding of the construction technology used for building major roads (motorways, federal roads and regional roads).
