Land-living animals suitable for bioindication and evaluation of central European habitats are presented with practical examples: Snails and slugs, grasshoppers, ground beetles, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles, birds and selected mammals. In the laboratory and partially outdoors we exercise how to handle (identify, quantify, evaluate) these animals.
