Content

Land-living animals suitable for bioindication and evaluation of central European habitats are presented with practical examples: Snails and slugs, grasshoppers, ground beetles, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles, birds and selected mammals. In the laboratory and partially outdoors we exercise how to handle (identify, quantify, evaluate) these animals.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

Information on the bioindicative power, sampling and determination of important groups of terrestrial animals.
