Selected biotopes near Vienna are visited. You get information about typical animals and plants, their biology and ecology and also about their importance in the colonises biotop.
- Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

In this excursiones students should get an overview of the flora and fauna of selected biotopes (wood, aquatic biotopes, different types of cultural landscape). By comparing the different biotopes abiotic and biotic factors, which are responsible for the occurrence of plants and animals are shown. Different zoological and botanical methods that should give you some idea of the practical work of these disciplines are demonstrated.
