Environmental chemistry deals with chemical processes which occur in water, soil, and atmosphere, their impact on the environment and human health and effects from human activity.
During the seminar, current “hot topics” in environmental chemistry concerning soil, water and the atmosphere will be discussed.
A suggestion of topics will be made available by the respective supervisors and presented during the kick-off meeting (date to be announced in the first week of March). Following the meeting, students can select their topic of choice which will form the basis of their presentation and report.
Individual mentoring and supervision will be offered by arrangement.
The date for the workshop/presentations will be scheduled after the Easter break (date to be announced in the first week of March).

Conveying knowledge on pollutants, comprising their distribution between separate phases and their interaction with environmental media.
