After successful completion of this course, participants are able to:
• Comprehend aquatic ecosystem processes and the role of various components of aquatic ecosystems (fish, benthic invertebrates, riverine landscapes and plankton);
•Gain practical experience on specific components of aquatic systems (fish, benthic invertebrates, riverine landscape and plankton)
• Evaluate how different aquatic ecosystems components respond to environmental factors such as, climate change and anthropogenic impacts and how organisms indicate these changes.
This will be achieved with group work, encompassing both theory and mainly practical exercises.
You can find more details like the schedule or information about exams on the course-page in BOKUonline.
