Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

This lecture gives an overview of wood properties of roundwood and sawn timber that determine the wood quality in srespect of the givenrequirements. The link to forest growth and silviculture shis provided by real life exampls. Possibilities to sustain and improve wood quality will be discussed.
