This lecture is concerned with what drives and curbs globalisation. We will investigate from an economic and social science perspective different drivers that shape our increasingly globalized world and impact on institutions, people, and the environment.

•Global integration, institutions, and governance
•Future drivers of change
•Selected case-studies

Previous knowledge expected

The lecture will start from scratch. Still, some background in social sciences would be of some advantage.
