Evaluation of the main character sets for determination of plants. Evaluation of available determination keys and floras from Europe, including special keys for critical taxa (grasses, sedges, mosses, umbellifers, composites, etc.). Exercises in sampling techniques (floristics, herbaria) and determination of plants in the lab. Determination of plants at vegetative states.
