Content

There will be written and oral exercises dealing with every day life subjects and based on selected texts, recordings, videos etc
The course focuses on the revision of these grammatical structures:
Conjugation and use of past tenses (Pretérito perfecto, indefinido, imperfecto)
Differences between “ser” and “estar”
The gerund
Adverbs: ya/todavía
Pronouns (dative, accusative)

Vocabulary and topics include:
Referring to events in the past and relating them to the present.
To report and narrate about events or biographical moments in the past
To describe circumstances of life in the past
To reconstruct narratives
To refer to different accomodations and their furnishings
To articulate preferences

To achieve the above mentioned aims active participation in class is absolutely necessary.

Previous knowledge expected

The class is intended for the following students:
Students who have successfully completed the class Spanish II
Students with a similar linguistic level acquired through courses in Austria or abroad
Advanced students who especially want to repeat and brush up their knowledge of Spanish grammar.

Objective (expected results of study and acquired competences)

The objective of the class is to broaden the linguistic skills acquired in the classes Spanish I + II.
Special stress will be laid on the systematic repetition of the more difficult aspects of Spanish grammar as well as on the practise of oral and written communication.
